Empowering Economic Research: Navigating the EPWRF India Time Series

Abstract

The Ahmedabad University Library System hosted an exclusive online workshop on the EPWRF India Time Series (ITS) Database, an interactive research tool managed by the EPW Research Foundation. Facilitated by veteran researcher Bipin K. Deokar, the session provided students and faculty with the technical skills to navigate 27 specialised modules containing long-term, standardised datasets on the Indian economy. By demonstrating how to transform complex statistical data into rigorous academic insights, the programme aimed to elevate the quality of macroeconomic analysis and policy research across the University’s academic community, utilising the institution's active subscription to this vital resource.
