Abstract

Our project aims to give potential buyers early involvement in the real estate development process. Real estate spaces are often sold before construction begins, so buyers are left with little input on design. Consequently, this lack of participation leads to costly modifications post-construction, delays, and material waste. This is addressed by the proposed platform, enabling buyers to look at digital layout plans, see common areas, and customize their individual units before construction begins. Buyers can pin suggestions and upvote or downvote suggested changes, and conversations with developers are simple and seamless via an intuitive interface. The platform does this by minimizing redesign costs, optimizing resource utilization, and creating the final property that aligns with the buyer's expectations by incorporating feedback early. Transparency between developers and buyers is smooth due to the streamlined process, which helps to decrease miscommunication and maximizes overall fulfillment. To this extent, this has ultimately redefined real estate development by promoting collaborative decision-making, minimizing inefficiencies, and bringing about a more personalized and responsive home-buying experience.
