Abstract
The kitchen appliance known as biomass cookstove functions by utilizing organic energy sources such as compressed biomass pellets together with firewood and charcoal and agricultural waste. Several industries have shown strong interest in these cooking appliances because they serve remote rural communities that lack adequate funding for modern energy sources such as electricity and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The use of open flames combined with brick or mud stoves for cooking leads to multiple serious problems because fuel burns poorly and produces excessive smoke and adverse health effects. Biomass cookstoves address the issues effectively by combining cost effectiveness with emission reduction while offering energy efficiency benefits. Home carbon emissions together with deforestation decrease when people use these stoves which helps fulfil international environmental targets. Traditional biomass cooking users are receiving encouragement from both governmental bodies and environmental organizations and NGOs to adopt better cookstove technologies. Public health improvements alongside diminished environmental degradation and enhanced energy stability for poor communities require improved cookstove technologies.
