Towed vehicle tracking system

Abstract

The project aims to create a user-friendly application/website that provides real-time tracking capabilities for vehicles towed from no-parking zones, a common issue in urban areas owing to the increase in motor vehicles in urban centers in recent years. The goal is to improve public awareness and transparency about towing operations, reducing disputes and inconvenience. The project also aims to enhance logistics and resource management efficiency through efficient tracking and sophisticated data management techniques. A key strategy involves conducting comprehensive research on successful systems in other cities to adopt best practices and insights. An interdisciplinary approach, leveraging business and computer science expertise, will be adopted to develop a robust solution. This will not only facilitate real-time updates on towed vehicle locations but also streamline the recovery process. The project aims to set a new standard in towing vehicle management, improving urban living quality by making the process less stressful and more efficient for all stakeholders involved. The end result would be a project that tackles a growing and needlessly time-consuming problem in society adding to the goal of a Smart and Digital India and making urban areas more digitally enhanced and technologically superior.
