Letter from B A Bhagwat (Home Minister to H H Maharaja Holkar) to Narayan Ganesh Chandavarkar

Abstract

This document is an official letter stating that under Huzur Shree Shankar Order No 475 dated the 8th October 1914, His Highness the Maharaja Holkar has accepted the resignation of the office of Chief Minister tendered by NGC. B A Bhagvat, the Home Minister, was directed to relieve NGC on the 9th October 1914 and asked to carry on the work of the office of the Chief Minister in addition to his own duties until further orders. Rao Bahadur Bhagvat took over charge of the office of Chief Minister in the forenoon of the 09 October, 1914.
