The project aims to address the gap between students' academic knowledge and the skills employers seek in finance and marketing. Through interviews with students, educators, and industry professionals, the research reveals a lack of essential skills and unrealistic salary expectations among graduates. To bridge this gap, the project proposes three approaches: industry partnerships, internships, and curriculum development. Industry partnerships provide students with real-world exposure and industry-specific skills, internships allow them to test their knowledge in a professional setting, and curriculum development incorporates industry insights to equip graduates with the most sought-after skills in finance and marketing. The project aims to bridge the education-industry divide, ensuring graduates have the necessary skills and realistic expectations for fulfilling careers.
