An Integrated Strategy for Financial Optimization, Brand Digitisation, and Operational Efficiency at Jasnit Activewear Pvt. Ltd

Abstract

Over a 10-month engagement, this capstone project sought to offer an evidence-based, multidisciplinary plan to support Jasnit Activewear in resolving its revenue shortfall and building sustainable growth. During this time, the capstone team was able to deliver measurable data on the basis of the Brand Platform of the company, target demographics mapping, and product awareness research using an organic social media campaign, which was consistent with studies' findings on digital channels. Operationally, although automated fabric cutters were first considered to cut down on material waste by 17 to 8 per cent, the capstone team found out that such heavy capital requirements and factory infrastructure limitations would not be possible in the short term. Installation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is, however, one of the most viable suggestions in order to eliminate manual tracking bottlenecks without the need to conduct a huge physical outlay or excessive capital investments. However, the nearest revenue recovery is in digital optimization. The problems Jasnit Activewear faces are highly interdependent: an inactive retail network limits the initiation of offline sales, whereas a poorly optimised, slow-loading website kills direct-to-consumer conversions. The suggested ₹15,500 digital remediation plan is a critical step with a high ROI. Although this study had some limitations, including a localised sample in retail and a limited time of conducting the digital campaign, the results of the study are a strong indication of the importance of an integrated strategy. The future recommendations provided by the team and a starting point for the future strategies, tactics and habits the company can inculcate to further expand their sales, gain consumer trust and market share in the long run. By following an interdisciplinary approach to solve operations, retail and digital issues, the team strongly believes that Jasnit Activewear has the product quality, manufacturing history and internal practices to bridge the revenue gap it is currently facing and grow in the Indian activewear market.
