| dc.description.abstract | In order to examine the relationship between sustainability and corporate success, this study contrasts companies in the Indian financial market with high and low ESG scores. The research looks at how ESG practices affect business performance, investor preferences, and regulatory frameworks. These practices are motivated by India's need to strike a balance between growth and the welfare of society. It investigates investor behaviour, market trends, financial measures, and the effects of governmental regulations on investment environments using a mixed methods approach that includes investor surveys and interviews. The study's objectives are to determine if ESG-aligned companies perform better than other companies and to provide light on the opportunities, compromises, and difficulties associated with giving ESG goals top priority. | |
