Abstract
Capstone Project Report "Interactive Mental Health Resource for Employees in the Workplace" outlines the creation of HappyHub, an internet-based platform to facilitate employees' mental well-being via evidence-based resources and materials. Focusing on common workplace issues of burnout, anxiety, procrastination, and work-life balance, the platform combines standardized mental health questionnaires such as the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) with daily mood monitoring, tailored resources, and organizational reporting. The platform's design was informed by a qualitative methodological approach, such as literature reviews and qualitative interviews with workers and employers, to reflect users' needs. Major findings emphasize the need for stigma-free, convenient mental health services and evidence-based information for employers. HappyHub seeks to develop a positive workplace culture by encouraging emotional well-being, time management, and social contact with a focus on privacy and scalability. The project emphasizes the importance of employer-initiated programs in preventing workplace stress and enhancing productivity.
