Bridging pet owner separation: uniting owners through the synergy of tech and psychology

Abstract

In an increasing population of pet adoptees and owners, there has been an increase in need of innovative and unique pet care/boarding services that cater to a special population. Moreover, with adverse effects in pets because of the coronavirus pandemic, cases of separation anxiety amongst pets have become prevalent, with increasing separation-relation behaviors. The project, thus, aims to propose and create a web application to facilitate a business project called PetEase to cater to pet care and pet boarding wishes of pet owners, and especially those with separation anxiety. The project goes in depth relating to the website design features, website development, a business model with a cohesive plan of costs, marketing and revenue generation, and possible ways of successful implementation.
