Strategies monetisation, operational efficiency, and contributing towards marketing strategy in ‘the jurni's’ new product

Abstract

This project is in association with a newsletter firm “The Jurni”, a travel newsletter with a more than a million subscriber base. Collaborating with The Jurni, we have supported the firm's monetisation channels and marketing campaigns. As a part of the capstone project, we have executed a marketing campaign at Ahmedabad University. The channels include influencer marketing, campaigning through posters, and collaboration with Ahmedabad University clubs. We have also suggested monetisation channels to the firm, including collaborative options around the central ethos of value proposition, referral discounts and many more. Further, we have assisted the firm in solving a significant operational channel of the newsletter industry: maximising open rates and minimising spam rates. With this capstone project, we have successfully applied what we learned from the relevant finance, operations, and marketing industries to help a newsletter firm. Above that, we feel that we were able to provide the start-up perspective of today’s young population along with creative ideas that may work for the company in the domain of marketing and revenue channels in the future.
