This study will work toward evaluating the significant variables or conditions that determine job choice and motivation at work amongst people and more specifically, Generation Z who are about to join the workforce. Against the changing needs of the workforce environment, the study examines where salary, organizational culture, work-life balance, learning and development opportunities, employer branding, gamification, and sense of purpose rank in influencing employment preferences. The findings indicate that in addition to being a fundamental need, salary is a threshold job applicants emphasize organization culture in the country, flexibility, and career growth prospects greatly in the ultimate decision to get hired. Overall, the results reveal that job choice is a multidimensional choice and individuals evaluate employers based on the combination of the financial, organizational, and motivational factors. The research also emphasizes the need to have an organization that considers a holistic employee value premise that integrates effective compensation plans with a positive working environment, career growth, flexibility, and believable-employer branding as a way of remaining afloat in the labor market to attract and retain talent.
