Abstract

The world is emerging with new technologies, and the latest technology trend is AI, while every industry is trying to integrate AI. One industry that can beautifully blend with AI is the Insurance industry, but what makes them work together or links them is that both work on big data. If the partnership between these two works positively, it will be a great boom for the industry. By adopting AI technologies, insurance companies achieve operational enhancement at every stage of their underwriting and claims handling fraud detection systems and customer service operations. AI technology adoption by the Indian insurance sector faces delays because of incomplete regulatory frameworks, technical limitations, and worker employment security concerns. The study analyzes AI implementation levels and insurance company difficulties while examining future industry transformation trends because of AI. Qualitative methodology, using interviews of insurance professionals, fintech executives, and regulatory experts, shows the current situation regarding the AI revolution in India's insurance industry. Big insurance companies have rapidly incorporated AI system solutions, but small enterprises are experiencing difficulties because of their insufficient technology base. Insurance organizations rely on fintech firms for AI innovation while deciding what steps insurance companies need to take to maximize their decision-making processes and risk evaluations.
