CMIE Prowess IQ & DX April 2025

Abstract

Ahmedabad University Library System is conducting a briefing session on the CMIE Prowess database on 02.04.2025. CMIE's Prowess helps students by providing real-world financial data for company analysis, industry trends, and research projects, enhancing practical learning in finance, economics, and business. The database includes two key variants: ProwessIQ, an interactive query system, and ProwessDx, a downloadable data service for advanced analytics. ProwessIQ has now migrated to the web while retaining all the interactive querying capabilities of its desktop version. Additionally, Prowess now includes base-level data on all companies registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), including registration details, CIN codes, business nature, directors, and asset charges. This information is accessible under the Directory tab on the Prowess Home page. To explore this further, please attend the briefing session.
