Comparative Analysis of Gender Diverse Investment Decisions Amongst Working Women of Ahmedabad University explores the investment decision making process and the factors influencing the decisions. The purpose of the research was to understand if there’s a gender based difference in financial understanding and investment patterns of working women at Ahmedabad University with the three research objectives i.e.,  To understand the investment behaviour and decision-making process of working women across the different segments.  To determine the factors that influence investment decisions across genders.  To gain insights about the gender-based income allocation and investment portfolio. The study had a mixed research design of qualitative and quantitative research to investigate the purpose of the study. The sample of the research was within the geographical constraints of the university. The sample was segmented into 4 segments considering their financial literacy. Academicians (Faculty), Administration, Student and Support were the segments of the study. The findings highlight a significant gender disparity in the financial literacy and investment objective prioritization despite the fact that risk is independent of genders. The research also highlights the influences of sociocultural factors, family roles and gender norms shape investment attitudes and behaviour of working women within the university context. This study offers insights to tailor education initiatives to increase financial literacy and awareness amongst women and lower income groups.
