| dc.description.abstract | Dishonest conduct has always had a significant impact on our society, and the presence of corrupt individuals at a higher level often leads their followers to engage in fraudulent behaviors. In this study, we are trying to see how the gender of a leader influences the behavior of their follower’s group and whether more people are inclined towards following male or female leaders when they engage in fraudulent practices. We use the die roll experiment to study this question and use previous literature to predict that even though men are more deceptive than women, more women start lying when they decide for a group. As per societal norms, people prefer to follow male leaders, but several other factors can influence this behavior. | |
