The potential of drone delivery systems is explored in this capstone project within the framework of India's evolving markets. The research paper addresses the feasibility, opportunities, challenges, importances, and the potential consumer perception on drone delivery services that have been addressed through literature review, secondary research, and analysis of the survey responses. The findings suggest that drone delivery can reduce the last mile delivery issues with drones along with partnership with trucks being coined the most appropriate transportation mode with benefits including efficiency, affordability, and environmental sustainability. However, the fundamental question of sustainability is around broad-based uptake which is faced with customer resistance, technological limitations, as well as regulatory compliances. Despite all of this, potential customers tend to approve of drone delivery services due to their need for more convenience and quicker delivery times. This initiative puts importance on how companies, governmental organisations, and industry players must work together to overcome legislative obstacles and technological barriers to provide guidelines for responsible and safe drone operations
