Letter from Unkown to D G Vaidya

Abstract

Writer writes to D G Vaidya requesting for a meeting in order to discuss incidents that could be of use to Mr. Vaidya in writing on NGC's life. He mentions that it would be good if Vaidya could spend some time in Honavar as NGC was born there and it was where NGC spent a lot of his childhood. He also mentions an anecdote of NGC in his village, Kaikein where NGC spent some time in the company of Vithalrao (author's grandfather) and sung songs before the idol in their family temple. Insists that he should meet the senior most family member, Shankerrao, of the Sirur Family who would know some incidents from the life of Lady Chandavarkar as well as NGC. Shankerrao lived in NGC's house in Morarji's chawl while attending Elphinstone High School. Another person he recommends Vaidya to meet is S L Ugraukar at Belgaum.
