In this session of The Conversation Series, Professor Rajeswari Sengupta, Associate Professor of Economics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), discusses the RBI’s communication and what is needed to make people understand it better. Professor Sengupta is an economist and an expert on monetary policy communication of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The discussion also focuses on the global evolution of central bank communications in monetary policy and, in the process, draws lessons from global best practices.
