Due to the availability of high computing resources and freely available datasets biological networks are one of the most studied networks in the recent time. Protein Protein interaction(PPI) networks are considered as one of the most important re source to study and analyze cellular functions. Proteins performs various important cellular functions some biochemical processes. For performing these function two or more proteins need to come in a contact with each other, physical contact between proteins is interpreted as a protein protein interaction. Studying topology behind biological networks and finding which theoretical model best fit the PPI networks is a challenging area in Bio-informatics. Comparing PPI networks with various random network models leads to give a knowledge about how far or close the PPI networks are to the given random network model. By using the network model which is close to the PPI network we can predict behavior and properties of PPI network. Till date there is no agreement on best fitted random network model for PPI networks.
