| dc.description.abstract | In the fast-moving era of digital commerce, food delivery apps are becoming a key player in influencing consumer behaviour. Zomato is one of the pioneers who changed how people found and ordered food. This Capstone Project will explore Zomato's digital transformation journey by examining its revenue generation, market competitiveness, consumer engagement and operational efficiency results. Zomata has evolved from a simple restaurant discovery site into a complete food tech ecosystem. Digital tools such as automation, big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and precision content creation are employed. Using digital tools has allowed Zomato to improve pricing and delivery strategies, enhance marketing campaigns and customize user experience. From a financial perspective, Zomato's digital advancements have impacted revenue and operation sustainability. It is evident as a cost management system and premium membership program. This project also recognizes the need to integrate marketing and financial key performance indicators (KPIs). Zomato's marketing strategies affect metrics like customer acquisition cost (CAC), average order value (AOV), and retention rates. These strategies help analyze data and understand consumer behaviour. It shows that Zomato's success is possible because digital technology links marketing efforts to financial results. This study explores how Zomato uses technology to influence consumers, address operational issues, and generate revenue to remain competitive, especially against competitors like Swiggy. The project intends to identify critical success factors and obstacles in Zomato's digital transformation journey. It will measure qualitative (content analysis, customer sentiment) and quantitative (financial performance, app engagement metrics) research types. Lastly, the results offer insightful advice and helpful suggestions for businesses in the digital services sector hoping to achieve comparable success. | |
