Period: 1912 File Summary: This file contains important correspondence between NGC and other notable persons including but not limited to DG Vaidya, NM Joshi, D Wacha, K Subhramanyam, CK Devdhar, Satyendranath Tagore, in the year 1912. While the file mostly contains general correspondence (requesting that NGC attend a meeting, write a book review, attend a meeting, or preside over a union, appreciative letters), some letters deal with more important matters, like caste reform, the history of the Brahmo Samaj, subsidies to the East Indian community, establishment of a school, etc. One letter in particular talks about internal fascism, and condemns the ‘Progressives’. The file also has a newspaper article written by Danial Latifi regarding the Muslim Women Bill.
